Many of us BSG fans are already bracing ourselves for the vacuum television will leave us with the departure of BSG in 2009. News of the Caprica TV Movie only made us hopeful that perhaps the story of Adam and crew will continue on in some way, shape, or form. SCI FI brings us good news on this front by giving Caprica the go ahead for a regular series to launch in early 2010, led by the two hour pilot that has been much talked about.

The series will star Eric Stoltz, Esai Morales, Paula Malcolmson and Polly Walker, and is set 50 years before the attack on Caprica by the Cylons.
